Welcome to the Isle of Capri, Italy, Europe.
By Mark on June 7, 2009
This is my post about the small south-western island of Italy, Capri, Located within the Tyrrhenian Sea near the region of Campania which is within the Province of Naples.
When we visited Capri, we had to go over to the island by a small ferry and it was amazing when we arrived on the island. When we arrived at the capital city Capri, I was quite surprised to see how touristic the city was, lots of small tourist shops, taxi’s and buses everywhere. So many restaurants and bars, all crammed into small alleys. It was a very busy place.
But the best part was going on a small cruise boat that took us all the way around the island and we even went in between the three Faraglioni rocks, just off the coast of Capri. I also saw where Sophia Loren’s house is on the island and also Gracie Field’s house, which unfortunately is not below. It was an amazing experience and I do miss being there.
