By Mark on March 16, 2009
Jersey is the largest of nine Channel Islands situated in the English Channel between north western France and southern England.
The capital is St.Helier and is kown for it’s name, which is a type of woollen pullover or light brown dairy cow, where they originated from. Plus the cows even provide milk for the population. The population was estimated in July 2008 at 91,533.
The Island depends alot on tourism and is a very popular holiday resort for the British and French. As both languages are official there you will find a high variety of English and French speakers.
St.Helier is the capital of Jersey it is a market town which is situated to the south coast of Jersey on St.Aubin’s bay. The town is an administrative centre and the name of the town is known for a Christian Saint who is said to have lived nearby in a local village.

Wow! Great Web site. Do you have any suggestions as to how I could find a retail photo service on Jersey Island, Great Britain? I have an elderly friend on Jersey who doesn’t use computers. I’d like to email images to a photo/printing service that would sell her prints. Thank you for your attention. Campbell Wood
