By Mark on November 5, 2009

After our success with Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch, Virtual-Tripping has decided to do a post on the King of Rock and Roll’s home, Elvis Presley’s Graceland’s. If you ever get the chaance to visit this place you really should grab it with both hands, Graceland’s is an experience that will be remember for life. You will find this magnificent at 3734 Elvis Presley Boulevard, which is in the Whitehaven community, which is about 12 miles or 19km from the maintown and it is less than 4 miles or 6 km from the northern border of Mississippi. Graceland’s is a huge mansion and has a 13.8-acre (56,000 m2) estate.
This mansion is now a museum and it was opened to the members of the public around 1982, and Graceland’s is now on the National Register of Historic Places list which was placed on the 7th November 1991 and declared a National Historic Landmark on March 27, 2006.
The very sad news that hit the world on the 16th August 1977, when the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Aron Presley died, he was buried at Graceland’s in what is now known as the Meditation Gardens, also buried there is his mother Gladys and his father Vernon Presley, and also his Grandmother was also buried there.
What a place and what a memory you will have. It really is an amazing place, you really must see it. I hope you enjoy the pictures below and click on the links to find out more about Gracelands and Elvis Presley.
