V.T to Osaka, Japan, Asia.

By Mark on August 25, 2009

This is a post about the Japanese southern city of Osaka, this city is located at the mouth of the Yodo River on Osaka Bay, in the Kansai region of the main island of Honshū.
Osaka is a designated city under the Local Autonomy Law and the capital city of Osaka Prefecture. But did you guys actually know that Osaka has been the commercial capital of Japan, plus it is in the heart of Japan’s second largest metropolitan area of Keihanshin (Osaka-Kobe-Kyoto), whose population is 18,643,915. This city happens to be huge in the economic status in the population scenario, by saying that I mean that in the night time the population is 2.6 million, and that makes Osaka the third highest populated city in the country of Japan and during the day it rises to 3.7 million, becoming the second highest populated city be after the capital city Tokyo.
Another thing you may or may not know is that Osaka has traditionally been referred to as the “nation’s kitchen” (天下の台所, tenka no daidokoro?), or the mecca of gourmet food.
Below are some details of places you may want to visit or learn about Places of interest, Universal Studios Japan, Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, Osaka Bay, Tempozan Harbor Village Ferris wheel, located next to the aquarium, Tennōji Zoo, Universal Studios Japan, Umeda Joypolis Sega, Shin-Umeda city, Nakanoshima Park, Osaka Castle Park, Sumiyoshi Park, Tennōji Park and much much more including Osaka Castle, Sanko Shrine, Nightlife, pubs, bars, nightclubs, shops, hotels etc, etc, etc. Enjoy.
