By Mark on November 12, 2009

This is a post about the capital city of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Dusseldorf. This city is found within the centre of the Rhein-Ruhr area, which happens to be one of the most populated areas within Europe. Dusseldorf happens to also be one of the most important centre in Germany, international and economically, the only other city which is more stronger than Dusseldorf is Frankfurt. You will find that this city is situated on the German side of the River Rhine, because of this, there is plenty to do and see within Dusseldorf and it is also and is renowned for many events and also for fashion and trade fairs. One of the most visited funfairs in Dusseldorf is the Größte Kirmes am Rhein funfair, it is normally held around the summer month of July in Germany and it can have anything from up to n 4.5 million people visiting each year.
Dusseldorf being the capital city of the North Rhine-Westphalia, there is so much to do and see ie festivals, carnivals, concerts of all types, culture galore, past and present, museums, bars pubs, nightclubs, hotels, leisure areas and centres, ie parks etc. Amazing sites of past and present buildings, beautiful walks and boat rides, i could go on and on. I fyou would like to find out more about this city, please refer to the link at the bottom of this post.
