This is a post in respect to Mr Gary Coleman,an American Actor and Associate producer.
By Mark on May 29, 2010
My heart sank today as I heard the very sad news that actor Mr Gary Coleman had died in his home due to a fall that caused a brian haemorrhage. To me he was just good old ‘Arnold Jackson’ from ‘Different Strokes’ and playing himself in the cracking movies ‘Carol Christmas‘ When I was a small boy, I remember often looking forward to watching what I thought was an excellent comedy series, called ‘Different Strokes‘ the sitcom that aired on the NBC television network from November 3, 1978 to May 4, 1985, and on ABC from September 27, 1985 to March 7, 1986. It was an American family entertainment series, which was about a family of a very Rich man, known as ‘Philip Drumond’, who had a maid who happened to be the mother of two African-American children from a poor Harlem area. She sadly died and Mr Drumond adopted the two boys and himself, his daughter ‘Kimberly’ and their maid looked after them and they all lived in a penthouse. The name of these two boys were known as’Arnold Jackson’ played by Gary Coleman and his older brother ‘Willis’ played by Todd Bridges. The family lived on Park Avenue in New York City. As ‘Arnold’, Coleman popularized the catch phrase “What’choo talkin’ ’bout, Willis?” It often varied, depending on whom he was addressing: “What’choo talkin’ ’bout, Kimberly?”, “What’choo talkin’ ’bout, Mr. D?”, and later, “What’choo talkin’ ’bout, Sam?”, etc. It was a fantastic show.

Gary Wayne Coleman was born on 8th February 1968 and passed away on the 28th May 2010, he was an American actor, known for his childhood role as Arnold Jackson in the American sitcom Diff’rent Strokes (1978–1986) and for his small stature as an adult. The problem that Gary Coleman would find, is that he was always known for his ‘Different Strokes’ role and has he became older and moved into adulthood, he started to struggle with his career, he was still involved in many television programs, television films, documentaries and Cameo work and he did in 1994 Gary Coleman was an Associate producer in a Short film called the Party, he had been described in the 1980s as “one of television’s most promising stars.” He did do alot of work, but alot of his work was moreAfter a successful childhood acting career, Coleman struggled financially later in life. In 1993, he successfully sued his parents and business adviser over misappropriation of his assets. R.I.P, Mr Gary Coleman.
