The wonderful islands of Hawaii,USA.

This is a post about the islands of Hawaii, belonging to the U.S.A in the Pacific Ocean. Hawaii is a chain of Islands which is an American state. It stretches for about 6,425 sq miles or 16,641 sq km from Hawaii island all the way to Kure island, but does not include the Midway islands.
The capital is Hononlulu on the Oahu island, and the population of Hawaii taken in 2008 was estimated at 1,288,198. Honolulu and Hilo are the two largest cities in Hawaii and the eight islands are known as Oahu, Hawaii, Maui, Kaui, Molokai, Lanai, Kahoolawe, and Niihau. Plus for the Hawaiian population and the Americans the islands are also known as Aloha State.
The Hawaiian islands joined the U.S.A in 1959 and has been with them ever since. Captain James Cooke was the first european to reach the islands and he named them the Sandwich islands in 1778.
Tourism is very important to the Hawaiian and American economy as well as selling their own produce, like pineapples, bananas, papaya and citrus fruits. Below are a mixture of satellite images and videos of Hawaii taken from Google Earth and Youtube.
