The United Kingdom, General Election, 2010, on Virtual-Tripping.

By Mark on April 30, 2010

As the 6th May gets closer, many people living in the British Isles are preparing to vote for this years General Election. Here in Great Britian we have numerous Westminster Government Parties, but the main three are Conservative, Labour (in power at present), and the Liberal Democrats. For the first time ever we were invited to watch three different television debates, with the main leaders of the three main parties involved. They are Prime-Minister Gordon Brown (Labour), David Cameron (Conservative) and Nick Clegg (Liberal Democrats).

There is a real fight going on between these three government parties, with the main leaders and other Memebers of Parliament (MPs), going to around the country promoting their policies. But there is no doubt about it that the three televised debates have really opened up this years General Election.

So who will win, well it is quite likely, that the Conservative party will get back into government, as many people criticise the party which is in power at the moment, Labour and Prime-Minister Gordon Brown, Deputy Leader Harriet Harman and Chancellor Alistair Darling, and other Labour Mps. Why are the British people unhappy, this is my statement, well the recession has not helped at all, but the problem really is, that the British Government is doing to much and creating to many policies, what do I mean, well nearly every time I tune in to the news, a new policy comes to the forefront, ther are to many people wanting to many different policies and the British Government does not have enough money to help out and with the British banks collapsing almost and the British people helping them out, giving more of their money to keep the banks above water, gas and energy going up in price, business’s failing due to money, unemployment going up, even though the British Government are trying to bring down unemployment and also not having enough money to keep a war going in Afghanistan and British soldiers dying, why are we fighting, it is down to you guys to find out, I have nothing to say on this subject as it is bewildering to me, prices going up in food, petrol, housing, etc etc etc. So this could be a reason why the Labour party are struggling to hold on to power. But I am sure there are many more reasons.

The third party in this General Election are the Liberal Democrats, they are the smaller of the three parties, but thanks to the determination of it’s leader Nick Clegg, President Baroness Scott of Needham Market, the Shadow Chancellor Vincent Cable, Chris Huhne the Home Affairs spokesperson and Ed Davey the Foreign Affairs spokesperson, all of these people are working extremely hard to get the Liberal Democrats into power, are they achieving this, probably not at winning the General Election, but a very good chance of becoming the second placed party, ahead of Labour.
Now what will happen if there is a hung parliament, what does this mean, well it means this in parliamentary systems, a hung parliament is one in which no political party has an outright majority of seats, so shared power happens with two parties joining together to produce a government, but can you imagine, what it will be like, as one party has a policy, which the other party in power do not agree with and so on. It will become more of a argument rather than a discussion, but it really could happen, so be prepared, we will all find out on the morning of Friday 7th May 2010.

there is no doubt about it that the three televised debates have really opened up this years General Election.

On the contrary, the debates have done quite the opposite. By not allowing leaders from other parties to take part, those parties have been shut out, and the general public will be less informed about their choices.

If I were eligible to vote, I would vote for the Libertarian Party.

That is intersting, the Libertarian Party, I am being dumb, but what do you mean, a party where you know everything that is going on, is that right, do remember of here we have the Freemasons, who are a kind of highly interllectual people, who work in very high jobs, like, courts, mps, lawyers etc. These people would quite likely stop anything , like a Libertarian Party, because they need to be in control, I think, that is what I have learn’t whilst living in Britain, they always appear to get the final word, but I might be wrong. Which ever party, gets through, will probably, still have the Freemasons, telling them what to do, again, I think. So what ever we do it is unlikely, the average citizen will ever get to know the whole story or information that is needed, someone said to me once, that theses mps are puppets to the Freemasons, I don’t really know if that is true or not.

Well, they pander to corporate interests. Read about lobbying, the practice of influencing politicians to vote for things that benefit you. You may as well call it bribery, because lobbyists for big businesses pay politicians to vote in their favor. Lobbying in the U.S is a $4 billion industry, financed by the biggest banks, oil companies, military industrial complex, etc.

So why Labour, the Tories and Lib Dems? Because big business controls them financially, so which ever party gets in, it will be business as usual.

I enjoyed reading your views on the election. It looks like a hung parliament has come about. Three days later and we still don’t know who will lead the country. A good read.

The Queen should step in and make herself useful…

“For the stability or the country, I, the Queen, appoint the Raving Loony Party to the position of government.” :-D

I think the parties are trying everything they can to prevent the queen from getting involved, but it may happen who knows.
