The gorgeous North African country of Egypt

By Mark on February 23, 2009

This is a post about the North African country of Egypt, it has the Mediterranean sea on the north side and the Red Sea on the right. Surrounded by Israel in the north-east, Sudan to the west and Libya to the south.
The climate of this country is alittle strang as it is very dry, hot and arids in the south where there is little to no rain at all and the population live on the water of Nile, which is regulated by the Aswan Dam. Where as in the north of Egypt, it is much wetter and it can be very fertile, so the population within the north are better off. In the east of the country you will find dry deserts and in the west limestone and sandstone plateaux.
To learn more about this fascinating country please refer to Wikipedia at the bottom of this post.
