The capital city of the Welsh Dragons, Cardiff.

Wales is a small country connected to England, Great Britain. The capital city of Wales is Cardiff, (Caerdydd). Now Cardiff as been around a long time since the year 75 CE, when the Romans settled in Britain, they created a fort for the Britannia empire, but when the empire fell around the 5th century the fort was left. And that fort was to go on and become Cardiff castle, over the years the castle was formed to be bigger, stronger and better, with many famous names working alongside the castle to make it what ti is today, some of the names included Robert Fitzhamon, John Crichton-Stuart, 3rd Marquess of Bute, and the architect William Burges.
By the middle ages Cardiff had grown with a population of almost 2,000 people it was the largest town in Wales, but to other towns, around Britian it was still quite small. Also in the middle ages Cardiff was a busy port and after sometime they built a barrier around the port to protect the city and castle. In 1404 the city of Cardiff and the castle were taken by a man named Owain Glyndwur, he and his followers burned the town to ashes as in those days most buildings were made out of some time of wood. But in time the town was remade again and flourished into another successful port.

Cardiff is becoming a multi cultural city with plenty of sightseeing, tours, entertainment and businesses.
The city is a commercial and business city, which is succeeding and growing. Cardiff lye,s on the Bristol channel at the mouth of the Ely, Taff and Rhymney rivers. And with a population of over 317,500 people it is gettting larger each year. Even though news reports were saying in Wales that the young people are moving away to find cheaper accommodation, (BBC NEWS REPORT). Thanks to the manufacturing of steel, engineering and food, Cardiff is becoming a popular city to do business in.
Also the headquarters of Mid-Glamorgan and South-Glamorgan are in Cardiff, Mid-Glamorgan the offices are based at Cathay’s Park and Atlantic wharf.

Cardiff has some cracking landmarks for example the Millenium Stadium, National Museum of Wales, Cardiff castle, Bute Park, Friary Park, Llandaff Cathedral, University’s, Royal Mint near Llantrisant not far from Cardiff, Cardiff Arms Park rugby stadium and the Welsh national Folk Museum. Including pubs, clubs, theatres and cinema’s.

it is a fun article I would have thought that anyone who has not been to Cardiff me inclusive is missing out on one of the best cities in Great Britain and if I was Welsh I would be very proud of my capital city so it is not well done to me it is well done to the people of wales and Cardiff, thanks for giving me the opportunity to write about this remarkable and beautiful city.
