Royal Tunbridge Wells and the Heroes War Memorial

By Mark on May 12, 2008

Tunbridge Wells is my largest town next to Crowborough, it is a very busy town with a large shopping centre (Victoria centre) which is over two levels. Open all year round except Christmas Day and New Years Day.

The Local BBC Television News Station and Local BBC radio station are based in the town opposite the local train station. Tunbridge Wells also has two theatres, assembly hall and The Trinity Arts Centre, as well as the High Rocks.

Here is the memorial statue of heroes from World War One and World War two. These men fought for our country for freedom and security. Every year on the 11th November there is a celebration for these men and there lives and to say thank you for what they did.

Here in Tunbridge Wells is Trinity Arts Centre, It relies on company’s and sponsorships as well as the general public to keep this magnificent place going. Plus this building produces excellent talent on and off the stage. And classic performances as well as new shows. I heard on the local news that the Trinity Arts Centre was struggling to find funds.

It’s a shame the Trinity Arts Center isn’t getting many funds. I guess people prefer the fast-food style entertainment of television these days. :???:
