This is a post about Porthkerry Country Park, you find this place which is a large public park on the welsh coast near the city of Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales alongside the Bristol Coast, England. Where England and Wales depart from each other in the southeast of Wales and the southwest of England. You will find the Bristol Channel. This area is a natural ite where you will find fields, pathways, ponds, forests, nature trails, farm animals, a pebble beach and a golf course. It is a real natural enviroment.
But the one thing that sticks out a mile as got to be the architectural, Viaduct(bridge), where you can see trains crossing over daily. It is a huge bridge and has got to be one of the centre parts of this area. The history of this bridge was that between the 19th and 20th centuries, it was used by the coal industry to transport coal from the valleys to the port.
Also if you ever have an opportunity to visit Porthkerry, you must go to the beach, it is an excellent place to see nature at it’s best, but most of all go and see the Bull Nose rocks at the edge of the beach. And for all you active people out there, you can walk from Porthkerrry to Cold Knap on Barry Island on a clear day, it would not take you to long to get there and back. So if you have a chance go and visit, there are places to stay at including the Egerton Grey Country house in Porthkerry and other places as well.
