One of Royal Families favourite porting cities, Southampton, U.K

By Mark on March 29, 2009

Southampton is the largest industrial city on the south coast of England, closest’s to the New Forest U.K. It is also a seaport and a resort. This city is situated between the river estuaries of Test and the Itchen in the county of Hampshire with the River Hamble joining to the south of the urban area.
Being one of the major ports in England it is a very busy place with ships and ferries from all over the continent bringing tourists, exports from other countries and oil reineries. Plus it is the leading link to the southern island, the Isle of Wight.
Southampton is known for the University of Southampton, Southampton’s Football club and stadium known as St.Mary’s, as well as Bargate and West Quay shopping centres.
