One of Asia’s gems this is Cambodia, South-East Asia.

This is a post about the Kingdom of Cambodia, this country used to be known as Kampuchea, it is a country in South East Asia and has a population around the 14 million mark. The capital of this country is Phnom Penh and it is the largest city in this kingdom.
Know I bet you did not know that this country used to be the successor state of what was once a powerful Hindu and Buddhist Khmer Empire, it ruled back then which ruled most of the Indochinese Peninsula between the 11th and 14th centuries.
Cambodia borders the countries of Thailand to its west and northwest, Laos to its northeast and Vietnam to its east and southeast. Also towards the south of Cambodia you have Gulf of Thailand. If you wanted to look at this country on a map you would notice that the Mekong River, which has many names like colloquial Khmer: Tonle Thom or “the great river”) and the TonlĂ© Sap (“the fresh water lake”), an important source of fish. Is the dominant river in Cambodia.
A person who lives in this country is often known as a “Cambodian” or “Khmer,” even though the latter name refers alot more to the ethnic Khmers. The majority of the citizens are mainly Buddhists, but there are other religions as well.
Cambodia does rely alot of her agriculture to survive, but it has also been known that Garments, tourism, and construction are also necessary. There are other areas as well like oil and natural gas, but it is many rice etc that keeps the deconomy moving.
