Kazan city, Republic of Tatarstan in Russia shows it’s beauty on V.T.

By Mark on October 21, 2009

After last night mighty football result between Barcelona f.c and F.C.Rubin Kazan, I felt that this was V.T’s next visit. What can you say a Russian team goes to Barcelona to take on the European Champions and the Spanish Champions of 2008/09 season and beat them on their own ground. Barcelona have not been beaten on their home ground in the Spanish league this season yet. What an amazing result.
The city of Kazan is the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan in Russia, and happens to also be one of the largest cities within the country of Russia. Kazan is also well known for her major industrial, commercial and cultural center, and will always remain as one of the most important cities for her Tatar culture.
Did you know that from April 2009, this city actually has the legal right to call itself “Third Capital” of Russia, this has been approved by the Russian Patent Office.
You will find the city of Kazan where it lies near the Volga and Kazanka rivers which are situated in central European Russia. Nearer to the western side of country rather than the eastern side. This city is not to far away from Moscow the capital of Russia, the larger cities close by apart from Moscow are Chelyabinsk and Samara. Finally this city is also well known for the Kazan Kremlin, which is a World Heritage Site.
