Heavy Snow comes to uk

By Mark on January 6, 2010

Britain is an lsle situated in the north-west of Europe, these isles contain the nations of England, Scotland and Wales, the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Orkney Isles and the Shetland Isles and the Western Isles and the nation of Northern Ireland is included. The summer months are normally quite warm with average tempretures of between 20 degrees celsius to 30 degrees and january 2010, have seen very low tempretures during the day anything from 5 degrees celsius, to -3 as far as scotland, but during the night tempretures fucturate between, 0 degrees celsius to -20 degrees celsius, especially in Scotland, which is the north of the Isles.
We are being told by the BBC weather centre, that a high block is preventing the warmer air from South America, via the Gulf Stream and we are sucking in cooler air, coming from Siberia, Russia and North Asia. The winters over there can be pretty nasty, very very cold weather, heavy snow, cold winds and so on.
These photo’s have been taken from flickr’s site, this means that the photo’s may not be of Britain, but I wanted to show you the type of snow we have had over here.
