This city is known for her political, cultural, and economic centre, which has been around for more than 1100 years. In it’s history Prague once upon a time used to be the seat of two Holy Roman Emperors making Prague the so called capital city of the Holy Roman Empire. But this was during the time of the Gothic’s and the Renaissance eras.

If you do not known that much about Prague, this really is a city full of history. This city has so much history that Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage sites and due to this it has been nicknamed the mother of cities, city of a hundred spires and the golden city. That says something. To learn about the history please refer to Wikipedia.

There are museums, theatres and operas, galleries, and libraries and there are also hundreds of concert halls, galleries, cinemas and music clubs in the city. If you are a great fan of movies, then you must visit Barrandov Studios. Where Hollywood movies like, Mission Impossible, Blade II and xXx have been made there. Also the film Dungeons and Dragons was made there in 2000. You have Prague Zoo, the restaurant Allegro which received the first ever Michelin star in the whole of post-Communist Eastern Europe. Finally thanks to the low cost in flying nowadays, this city has become the city of weekends, with so much to see and do, it will fly by.
