Earthquake Rocks Japan

At a little after 5 o’clock this morning, my family and I were woken by a long, very shaky earthquake. A quick check on Twitter told me that a magnitude 6.6 quake had hit Japan’s Shizuoka region, but it was felt across much of eastern Japan.

The U.S. Geological Survey has some layers for Google Earth that show earthquakes as they hit the globe in real-time. You can also view them by age and depth. The one that hit Japan this morning is represented by the orange circles in this picture:

    Are you ok bro, what was it like and so you did feel something, gosh rather you than me, hope Ricky is ok.
    Gosh not another earthquake you must live in the capital of earthquakes, next it could be a sunnami, watch out and take great care.
