This is a post about the Indian Ocean island of Christmas Island, which is located between Indonesia and Australia. It is a territory of Australia and is 2,600 kilometres or 1,600 miles north-west of Perth, Australia in Oceania, and 500 km or 310 miles south Indonesia and it’s capital city of Jakarta in Asia and is quite close to the Keeling Island’s. The population of the 1402 residents that live on the Island, there are a number of settlement areas, like the capital Flying Fish Cove which is also known as Kampong, Silver City, Poon Saan, and Drumsite.
Due to the island being inhabited late, it was around the 19th century, there is plenty of different types of natural species including, animals and plants. There is a densley populated rainforest and lots of lushus greenary around Christmas Island. Fields, hillsides, lakes, forests, parks etc. If you are a naturalist, then this is the place for you to visit for a nice rlaxing break.
So this appears to be the place to go to for peace and quite.
